Battery Chargers Mori Power Switch High Frequency Battery Chargers Mori Power Switch high frequency chargers are highly efficient, light and compact with adjustable profiles for recharging either vented lead acid or sealed maintenance free batteries. Suitable for both wall mounting and onboard use Power Switch chargers are highly efficient with near unity power factor for low input currents and low power consumption which reduce installation and running costs. The PSW is available in both single and Three phase supply with voltages ratings of 12 to 80 volt models with currents of 12 to 240 amps, suitable for recharging batteries in 8 to 13 hours with air circulation modes to recharge batteries in 6.5hours. All models have Short circuit and reverse polarity protection and are current limited to fully utilise the available mains supply. To allow even larger batteries to be recharged from the same single phase supply a special PF model is available which further reduces AC draw and allows 20% larger batteries to be recharged form the same supply. adjustable output ratings which can be modified on site using the
MP-TOP2. In addition to being programmable Power Switch chargers have
recoverable data on charger settings, battery rating, equipment serial
number and, if supplied at the time of manufacture, details of the
customer. This makes tracking the suitability of the equipment the
battery being charged and equipment ownership or rental units much
simpler. In addition to “Set up“ data the Power Switch also records life
time information on the number of charges undertaken and detailed
information on the previous months charge cycles, all of which is down
loadable and viewed on the MP-TOP2.The charger life time data records the total number of recharge cycles carried out with this total broken down in to 4 groups by the duration of the charging cycle. An additional counter also records how many of these were operator interrupted charges. More detailed Information on the charging parameters are recorded or the previous month on a “first in first out basis” so recent performance data is available for analysis to assists in resolving problems relating to battery or truck performance. • Charging current at start of recharge • Battery voltage at start of recharge • Charging current at the end of charge • Battery voltage at the end of charge • Amp/hours returned to the battery during the charge cycle • Faults detected during recharge • Charge interruptions during recharge. Power Switch Multi - High Frequency Charger  Single Phase HxWxD mm 295 x 220 x 110 The Power Switch Multi can be programmed to recharge any kind of lead acid battery and is easily programmed from the on board keyboard and LED display. Current, voltage and time are all adjustable to suit the charging requirement. Available to cover the range of 6 – 36 and 12 - 48 volt and 3A to 30-40Amp the Multi can be used for refreshing complete pallets of batteries, for disulphation of customers neglected batteries or for general charging in the workshop where one charger covers all your charging requirements. Efficient - Taper Chargers  The Mori Efficient range of 50 Hz taper chargers offers a high quality cost effective range of chargers suitable for recharging flooded lead acid batteries in either 8 or 12 hours. Available in voltages from 12 volt to 96 volt and current from 10 to 200 amp the Efficient range in available in both single and three phase supply and is built using high efficiency transformers and the latest technology low loss rectifiers. This low loss design and precise charge management, which automatically compensates for lightly discharged batteries, achieves efficiencies in this 50Hz product that are as high as some high frequency chargers at a fraction of the initial cost. To reduce running cost even further the Efficient has the ability to be programmed for delayed start so the benefits of off peak electricity can also be utilised. Automatic equalising ensures the battery is always fully charged and ready for use and that the entire battery is at its peak performance. As with the PSW range the Efficient controller stores data which can be downloaded by the MP-TOP 2 for reporting and can be viewed on the integrated LCD screen to assist in fault finding. In addition the charger settings, battery details, serial number and, if supplied at the time of manufacture, the customer details can also be downloaded. The Efficient stores life time data on the number of recharge cycles carried out with these figures being split down in to 4 groups by the duration of the charging cycle. An additional counter also stores the number of operator interrupted charges. Supplied complete with AC cable and IEE plug removes the need for the involvement of an electrician to disconnect the equipment when being collected for return from hire. A case mounted DC connection allows for charging cables to easily be swapped if they have been damaged or a different connector is required for connection to the battery for charging. Weatherproof Chargers and the Weatherproof IP55 Chargers Utilising the same impact resistant rental cabinet and easy install cables the weather proof charger has baffled ventilation to resist the ingress of water in to the cabinet. To protect against ground water the fork pockets lift the cabinet 80mm above the ground. To protect the charge indicators and controls against driven rain, access to the charger controls is obtained via a clear, spring loaded flap with additional protection to the controls being given by a water proof membrane. Available in either single or 3 phase supply and in rating ranging from 12 volt 10 amp up to 80V 200 amp the weather proof charger is a cost effective, mobile solution to suiting charger in the open air or in wet dusty environments. Where additional protection against ingress of water is required and protection against dust is also essential the weatherproof cabinet it available with forced ventilation and dust filters which meet an IP55 level of protection. Fully Water Proof Chargers  Suitable for use on all types of Lead acid battery and is available in 12 and 24 volt and suitable recharging batteries capacities ranging from 19 -105Ahr. The SMC is suited to recharging batteries used in motive power, standby and started applications and can be left permanently connected across the battery and used as a DC power supply where necessary. Single Phase HxWxD mm 110x70x36, 193x99x48 Battery Booster  The battery booster allows for the recharging of 24 volt batteries from 12 volt alternators and starter batteries. Many delivery vehicles now carry powered handling equipment for transporting goods at the delivery site. The Battery Booster allows for both sealed and vented 24 volt batteries to be recharged from 12 volt delivery vehicle alternator circuits whilst in transit to ensure the handling equipment is fully recharged and ready for use.
